Coach
Pearson "Tango" Running Back #22
Tango was a high school standout at Winnsboro, he was nick named the
"Winnsboro Flash". He won two consecutive rushing titles and
was a three year starter at running back. Played jr. college football at
Trinity Valley, where his roommates were NFL superstar John Randle and
NBA star Sean Kemp. Tango then went to the soon to be NCAA Div II power,
Texas A & M Commerce. This is where he played with the Murphy
brothers. Tango
was Shannon's roommate during football season. Hence, this is where they
earned the nick names - "Tango and Cash". At the Pro combine
he did the 225 bench - 35 reps. Not bad for a 220 lb running back.
Tango had a brief
career in the Arena Football League. Tango had a brief career with
the T.V. series American Gladiator as seen on T.V. in the early 90's. Tango is now in his
9th year as the Running Backs Coach at Granbury High School.
Jon and
Marco before the 5A State Playoffs. Duncanville vs. Midland
Jon
Rhiddlehoover- Offensive Line/Deep Snap Specialist
Jon was a 2 year college All-American in football and track. He played
pro football in Europe, and had several tryouts with various NFL
teams. At
6'5" and 285lbs, he can dunk a basketball flat footed and he can
snap the ball back to the punter in a record time of 0.68 sec. That
makes blocking a punt near impossible. Jon has earned the respect of his
students and fellow coaches, thus taking on the nick name "Coach
Hammer". Jon has now left high school coaching because of the
political correctness. Taking GOD out of the school system has
cause a breakdown in classroom values allowing for so much chaos in the
teaching jobs required by coaches. It just isn't worth 75K, a measly
salary for assistant coaches. Jon is now much happier working for a cement
contactor in the construction business. It is unfortunate to lose good
coaches/teachers because our government and school administrators are so
corrupt. It is such a shame for the State of Texas to lose so many good
teachers and great coaches every year because OUR SCHOOL DISTRICTS are
so ill advised.

Jones is the newest member to join the Champions coaching staff. He is
well diverse in all areas of the game, especially pass rush techniques.
Coach Jones is an excellent recruiter who always manages to get the best
recruits because he is true to his word and coaches with integrity. One
of the few on the college level that maintains such high standards.
(Because of team copy right / trade mark law we can not mention what
school he will NOT be representing while working this camp)
